I was once your bursary holder and my name is Mpumelelo Mayekiso. The first time I walked into the office I received good attention and every time when I submitted my forms I got advice, I have been guided by you guys all these years. I graduated (national diploma electrical engineering) last week, now I’m working in the field of computer systems, and I intend to grow because of the acquired technical and engineering skills I got from the institution I attended.
Thanks for your support and I hope that other students will follow a direction that you showed me. Good luck!

I wish to thank all involved at your organisation for providing me with the opportunity to further my dream as a journalist. I will be graduating on 21 April, largely due to your funding and faith in me during my first year when it was most needed. I have been working as a journalist at a business newspaper for the past 2,5 years and will very soon be starting a month long internship at Cosmopolitan magazine. Attached please see my results. Also a special thank you to Mrs Van Wyk who was always following up on me to let me know which documents were outstanding.
Once again, thank you so much and I hope to assist a student in need some day.

It started year 2003 while I was doing grade 11 and joined Saturday classes. I was one of the fortunate students to be elected to attend South African Air Force camp; learnt a lot met new friend and was able to decide on what I wanted after high school, got certificates etc. Due to the situation that I was in ASSET was able to give me a bursary for my first year in year 2005 till today. Now I would like to thank you ASSET including their sponsors whom gave me a key to success. Last year I was one of the students who got a chance to be in a learnership program where we were involved in a Telkom Project. I’m proud to say on the 03 June this year I got a job as a Test Analyst using my IT skills at Easypay. Still finishing up my diploma this year. I’m lost with words, but thank you with all of my heart to give me wings to learn and achieve something out of my life.

What I like is that every time I come to Saturday class, there is always something new I learn and I am proud of it.
